You can get a hay bale at the local store for a few bucks, some twine, and an old broomstick and you have a homemade Halloween scarecrow. With so many to choose from, and half of them looking exactly the same, it’s hard to know which projector to go with. Some of them look very chintzy. Some are outrageously expensive. On top of that, there are also so many unfamiliar companies making them ( I’m sure most of them are reputable companies ), for electronics, I prefer a company I’m familiar with. For best results hang a translucent nylon screen inside your window or door. I use a shower curtain I got at the dollar store, it works great. I just taped it up with transparent tape. Try to use a room you can make completely dark, and one that doesn’t get much light from outside. Then place your projector on a level surface, make sure the projector sits flat, not tilted. And you’re set.

And let’s not forget you can go pumpkin picking with the kids and make your own jack-o-lanterns. You can use gourds and fall plants, like mums and ornamental cabbage. They look beautiful in planters and will last into winter. You don’t have to spend a fortune to make your home festive.
