Hello. Thank you for visiting my site. My name is Susan. I am the mother of three and the grandmother of two.
Some of my fondest memories as a little girl are of time spent with my mom in the backyard. I was always so impressed by her knowledge of plants. She knew every plants name and which plants grew best in which area of the yard. She knew about when to plant things and how to transplant them if she wanted to. She had beautiful hanging plants on the patio and weeds were not allowed to grow anywhere. I’ll never forget the first time I decided to transplant a Hosta. I moved a very large plant from the backyard and separated it into 5 smaller plants. I was so impressed with myself.
My mom imparted her knowledge to me and created a love in me of, not necessarily gardening, but of beautifying the backyard. I have spent many years learning and practicing what she taught me. I hope to share a bit of the knowledge I have acquired over the years with you.

If I recommend a product to you it is because I have either used it myself and loved it, or I have thoroughly researched it. I spend hours evaluating reviews and finding as much information on a product as I can. I fact check with government agencies and independent researchers.
